Gora Belaya Ski Resort

This project formulates a guideline for the architecture design and open space character of the 14-ha ski resort in Gora Belaya, Russia. There are total of 18 buildings in 2 village zones. Each of the zone has a unique character yet familiar between the two.
The architecture guideline discusses different material palette, colors and texture for various elements of the architecture from the base, envelope to the roof.
The open space character guideline discusses elements such as wayfinding, paving, planting as well as furnitures.
The guidelines emphasize on the strong locality character with the use of local material, local architecture language of timber and pitched roof as well as familiar color of the local setting.
